Weeble and Sheriff Fatman played LeftLion Presents at the Orange Tree on Thursday 20 April 2006. It was a ska-punk extravaganza with free-flowing beer and dancing on the tables.
Weeble have been regulars at the likes of Junktion 7 and other venues for a while now (they even won the annual battle of the bands there a few years ago). Read an interview with them on LeftLion here. Check their website here.
Sheriff Fatman are a four piece from Notts, who are newer on the scene but show plenty of potential. Comprising of bass, drums, two guitars and vocals, they combine the old school UK punk ethic, but kick out a modern day sound. Check their website here.
If you'd like to listen to the bands music, both bands have myspace sites and you can listen to their tunes here and here.
Up next month we have The Henry Road and The Ardency playing at the Orange Tree on Thursday 18 May. Entry as usual will be free. Get there early if you want a seat.
