Intoxicating sounds, hard-hitting visuals, magical animations, interactive tales and sexy designs were just some of the delights created for Most Wanted; Nottingham Trent’s Multimedia Degree Show 2008. The sound editing booths at the University became immersive environments in which to experience the eclectic audio work, and rows of comfy black sofas transformed a studio into a luxurious cinema in which to sit and watch an extensive and head spinning presentation of visual work.
The overall exhibition successfully lived up to the Multimedia course’s reputation for using cutting-edge technologies across the specialties of Web Design, Animation, Games Design, Audio Engineering, Audio Visual Production, Directing and Design. A handful of the works interestingly reflected elements of today’s 21st Century culture, such as concerns of street crime and the high demands for digital entertainment. I imagine Nottingham has much more to taste from these talented graduates…

The student profiles took the form of individual police line up shots, plastered across the wall, following you around the room, and looped continuously on screens held high above your head, inviting you to stop, stand and discover more about each student and their work; creating little stations of interactivity across the room.
