The Lakeside Arts Centre are bringing Jeff Brown’s classic tale of Flat Stanley to life in Nottingham this Christmas. Flat Stanley is the extraordinary tale of how Stanley Lambchop becomes only half an inch thick after a notice board falls on him...
To celebrate, Lakeside are looking for anyone, of any age, with the Christian name of Stanley to join them for a photocall with Flat Stanley. They will also be invited to a special launch and to see the show for free.
If you’re not called Stanley, unlucky. However, you can join in with the fun at the Kite Making or Drama Workshop on Sunday 22 November and there will be a free exhibition in the Wallner Gallery running from 2 December to 3 January. The run includes a signed show on 9 December and an audio described show on 10 December.
Flat Stanley opens on 27 November, so if you’re called Stanley, or know anyone called Stanley, contact Katherine or Liz on 0115 9410714. Proof of identification will be required.
