| Luke Pick as Wesker in Dawn and the Dead |
The greatest story ever told. With zombies. In Nottingham.
Dawn and the Dead is an hour-ish long, low budget epic about a young woman called Dawn (you see where they’re going with the title...) who is thrust into a zombie apocalypse. As a materialistic, fashion obsessive she wouldn’t have stood much chance of survival without Wesker, a paintball instructor who trains her in the way of the gun and who proves to be a potential love interest. With her new skills she finds that she is a natural at shooting zombie’s heads off and - without giving too much away - runs into a whole host of characters (gypsy daughters, crazy soldiers, northern reporters), whilst killing many an ‘undead mo fo’.

by Harry Wilding Jan 25, 2010, 01:46:53 pmReally?? What a coincidence...whereabouts will he be? We might be able to lure him to the premiere with a trail of fake blood and perhaps some zombie noises...
by seamus flannery Jan 25, 2010, 03:46:50 pmHawsome! If there's one thing I love more than zombie films, it's local zombie films. The 28th is a Thursday, right? It's the missus' birthday unfortunately and she wants to see It's Complicated. Hmm, some Saved By The Bell-style trickery is in order.
