The Australian Pink Floyd Show are in town on Sunday, strutting their psychedelic Floyd tribute stuff at the Trent FM Arena. We've got a pair of VIP tickets to dish out, so read on to get yer mitts on em...
Now widely regards as the world's number one tribute act, The Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) show was thought up by a bunch of guys from Adelaide in 1988. They've since gone on to tour the world in the style of Floyd in their heyday. Rated by ex-members as being on a par as the real thing back in their acid bashing glory days, they've even played privately for David Gilmour.

Boasting an obsessive level of detail, with a lighting show modelled on previous Pink Floyd world tours, they even have the inflatable pigs and animation sussed. All of which sets the scene to two instrumental laden sessions covering essential Pink Floyd tunage.
Anyway enough about them, we hear they're good. Onto the tickets. We've got a pair of VIP tickets to one of the Arena's Hospitality suites boasting fancy views and waitress service. Nice. To put your name into the LeftLion hat simply email your full name and contact details to photography(at)leftlion.co.uk
The winner will be drawn at 4.30pm on Friday and we'll call you by 5pm, using the number you emailed with your name, geddit? We won't use your details for owt else, they'll be deleted after. Good luck!

Write Commentby Daysleeper Apr 22, 2010, 04:44:40 pmSweet...I would enter myself if I wasn't going to see Rufus Wainwright. Surely the best chance to see any decent Pink Floyd music live now.
I hope Rufus brings his laser show with him. Or at least indulges in a little cross dressing. That would be ample compensation.
by floydy Apr 23, 2010, 09:53:55 amRufus has been playing the new album in it's entirety, asking the audience to keep applause for the end, and then doing a set of old tunes
I cant wait, we've seen him 4 or 5 times now
