What is Audio Montage?
One day of live music and performance spread over seven venues on Mansfield Road in Nottingham. Set-up to realise and promote forward thinking, interesting and different live music. At one of the venues some of the acts will perform in a boxing ring. There will be live wrestling and buskers outside every venue involved.
It’s also about having a very good time.
When is it happening?
Easter Sunday. That’s bank holiday Sunday 8 April to you non-believers. Between the hours of 2pm-12 am
Where is it happening?
The Orange tree, The Rose Of England, the Q bar, The Golden Fleece, The Loft, FADE and The Maze.
Why is it happening?
The festival will benefit all of the independent venues listed above and provide a platform for local and national acts to perform. The proceeds will be used to pay the main acts and to cover promotion and catering costs. Any profits will be divided between the all the promoters to be recycled and put toward future ventures.
It will also help to establish all involved and generally raise the profile of all involved, namely the promoters, venues and most importantly the bands.

Essentially the festival has been conceived by Andy Clydesdale of Audio Massage (pictured right) so ultimately they have control. Although the idea is for the individual promoter to show off their musical agenda and represent their night as best as possible.
How is a band/act selected?
As above it is down to the individual promoter to represent what they do. However, ultimately Audio Massage has the final say. This is down to the simple fact that this event is truly to promote only the finest flourishing music out there. We are not going to all this effort to promote acts that had been doing the same circuit for 4 years and not tried to alter or vary their act or fan base.
How much is it?
£5 advance £7 on the door. This allows entry into The Rose and The Maze. The other venues are free.
