Notts Musical Family photo - a bit like this but with lots more people and portrait not landscape
Hi Everyone
Thanks for confirming you are coming to the LeftLion cover photoshoot. It takes place at Rock City on Tuesday 4 October from 6-8pm. Arrive from 5.45pm and come through the doors at the Black Cherry Lounge (formerly The Rig), which is just a little bit futher up Talbot Street.
The final list of attendees has been posted here on the LeftLion forum. You should all be on there. If you're not then post in that thread asap and Jared or Parisa will be on the case to work out what's gone wrong asap!
A few rules for you:
- At the door of the Black Cherry Lounge there will be someone from LeftLion with a register. They will issue you with a number of where you will be standing in the photoshoot. You and your band must stand here.
- If you're bloody tall then be nice to the people behind you by being prepared to move around a bit.
- If you entered on behalf of other people you are responsible for getting them to the venue on the day. Please make sure you arrive as a group, as stragglers could end up getting turned away.
- Do not bring any camera’s to the shoot. We have a strict embargo on anyone except for LeftLion photographers taking photos during the shoot. If you get your mobile out and start snapping during the shoot you might get shouted at by a man with a megaphone.
- Wear stuff you might wear on stage to the shoot.
- LeftLion photographers will also be taking individual and group shots of all bands and acts on the day. By coming to this shoot in the first place you are giving your permission for these photos to be used by LeftLion, both in our magazine and online and also potentially in other places with LeftLion permission (eg an exhibition).
- There will be an afterparty straight after the shoot at the Black Cherry Lounge (which is the old Rig). So bring a bit of cash for a couple of pints and a chat after. We hope to have some kind of live music jam that you can join in on too!
