
You can find a variety of events in venues across town from Friday October 13th to Sunday 22nd October, which will include workshops, seminars, performance and exhibitions as well as the chance to visit artists in their studios. We take a look at what's on for the coming weekend:
Thursday 12th
The Warm Up - The festival will be warming up with the Divine CcB presenting material from their forthcoming album at an event called Cafe Café con Brio held at Bar Deuxon Thursday evening.
Friday 13th
Launch - The festival opens proper on Friday with an early evening launch party (6.30 - 8.30pm) at the Lace Market Photography Gallery on Stoney Street, which will be Festival Hub for the period.
Saturday 14th
Hub Events - Throughout the day there will be a series of workshops, exhibitions and information on offer at the Festival Hub/Lace Market Photography Gallery 10.00 am – 4.30 pm).
Urban Surfaces - Nottingham artist Chris Pickup explores the visual experience of living within a city, recording the patterns colour and textures of our urban world.
Urban Surfaces @ Art House Gallery, Derby Road (10.00 am – 4.30 pm)
Open Studios - Come and visit the studios of the artists from Nottingham Artists’ Group, Nottingham City Artists/City Arts, Wollaton Street Studios and Stand Assembly (12.00 - 6.00pm)
What is Art? - bring a bottle of wine and a work of art along to Trent University for a discussion of opinions with Derek Hampson (you'll need to book, see their website).
Enjoy the Ride - Chilled music, projections and performances in the ambient surrounds of the Malt Cross, magic stuff (8.30pm - 1am)

Sunday 15th October
