Writer/Director Philip Formby has created an atmospheric and humourous film noir about a man (Adam Collis) who sits at his typewriter for days, losing sight of the outside world as he creates the perfect letter. But what motivates this frantic behaviour, and who is the recipient of his restless compulsion?
Formby is a freelance filmmaker and traditional photographer, who has been working as assistant director and cameraman on I’m Not From London’s up and coming film about the Notts music scene.
