ZAP!

wallFour is the brainchild of two videogame experts Adam Russell and John Sear who came together as a creative partnership to use their knowledge to create playful group live experiences.  As part of this artistic venture they created the world’s first hundred player laser game, Renga, which debuted at 2011’s GameCity. That’s one hundred people playing with lasers for one whole hour.  As a sell-out success, they’re couldn’t resist returning to Nottingham in 2012...

Back at Broadway, but this time they’re taking over the big screen with their laser beams.  The audience will all be given laser pointers to interact directly with the cinema screen in a co-operative experience that will, hopefully, end in victory! Renga combines strategic conquest elements from games such as Civilisation with action phases inspired by old-school arcade classics such as Defender.

Not your normal cinema - or art - trip, you will be shouting and screaming as the atmosphere builds to its joyous conclusion. Really, this is Monday night entertainment at its best but with a light based twist.

Renga will be on at Broadway on Monday 20 February at 6pm. Tickets: £5.50
