Win Marilyn Manson tickets!

Win a pair of tickets to see everyone’s favourite cross-dressing alt-rock musician play at the Arena…

Marilyn Manson at the Nottingham Ice Arena

Those nice folks at the Trent FM Arena have offered us a pair of tickets to give away to see Marilyn Manson on Thursday 17 December.

Formed by singer, writer and guitarist Brian Warner, the band was initially called Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids before going on to be known more commonly as just Marilyn Manson. After over a decade of hits including Heart Shaped Glasses and Nobodies, as well as dark cover versions of Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus and Soft Cell’s Tainted Love this will be Marilyn Manson’s first UK tour since the release of The High End of Low – which is considered by many as the band’s finest album in years.

Whatever people may think of Marilyn Manson, it’s hard to argue against the power of a Marilyn Manson concert. Anthems such as Disposable Teens, The Dope Show and The Beautiful People set against a breathtaking stage with impressive costumes, ensure that the show will be highly entertaining and certainly not-to-be-missed.

To win these tickets just answer this simple question:

It is widely believed that Brian Warner named himself Marilyn Manson in a grotesque homage to Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. If you were a rock star named after two contrasting famous people what would you be called and why?

All entries should be no more than 100 words and sent by email, with the title 'Marilyn Manson comp' to info@leftlion.co.uk by midday on Friday 11 December.

To purchase tickets or find out more information about the show visit the Trent FM Arena website or call their 24hr ticket hotline on 08444 124 624 or visit the box office in Bolero Square, The Lace Market, Nottingham.
