Poddingham #12

With John Marriot, The Black Light Parade, 25 Past The Skank and I'm Not From London's Will Robinson

Poddingham #12

Poddingham 12 is here, and it a biggy!

This show starts off with an interview and music from indie-pop guitar player John Marriott who, despite playing guitar for nearly thirty years, doesn't think he's improved much since his first six months.

The Black Light Parade bass player Matt Holt is in the studio to play us a couple of tunes from their new album, which is due out later in the year and to talk about a gig he's involved with for Amnesty International.

I'm Not From London promoter Will Robinson randomly pops by the studio and tells us a bit about what he's been up to recently, including the Help Haiti benefit weekend at The Golden Fleece.

And Notts own dub, jungle and ska phenomenon 25 Past The Skank (who have been described in the past as '"The Specials on crack") are in the house to tell us about being influenced by Alan Partridge and Pitman.

Plus a new track from Dave Anderson.
