Write Commentby Jared Sep 23, 2008, 06:45:38 pmA bit of a way out unless you're on that side of town, but they put on some quality stuff in here. Seen good comedy, classical music and theatre.

by New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. Feb 20, 2009, 10:25:28 amBest ticket prices of any proper theatre in Notts, and a massive range of stuff - music, drama, art, dance, comedy, workshops, children's shows etc.
The outdoor events they put on for Chinese New Year and the children's festival in summer are always good too.
by Sara Feb 20, 2009, 10:29:51 amI go here a lot due to living closeby, nice place to cycle around the grounds too.. A good cafe which feels chilled allows you to just 'be' - I like that and the view from the cafe is lovely - looking on to the lake...![]()
There's also a small stall where you can buy some of the most beautiful cards..really special!
At the moment there's an exhibition about USSR posters that I keep meaning to go and see - although I think this is on at Djanogly rather than Lakeside
Definitely worth a visit
by studioname Feb 08, 2010, 06:32:31 pmReally nice exhibition on at the minute in the Djanogly gallery; 'Pavilion Commissions'. A group of Japanese photographers doin their thang! Check it out... They're hosting a talk this Wednesday (10th Feb) at 6pm! Should be interesting...
