This place is really nice and well worth popping up to canning Circus to pay it a visit.

Went in tonight.

Pint of Leffe, in excess of �4.
Regular bottle of pale ale �3.60.
Oh dear, oh dear.

Music was pretty much "this is dance hits 2002"...

Pretty lame place to go on a Friday night. Four pubs within a 2 minute walk... and they were all better.

Good selection of beer.
Proximity to other good pubs.
Plenty of student gal to ogle.
Local artists' work displayed.
Nice sharing plates.

Cons:

Any food which isn't the sharing plates.

yea the food seems to have gone right downhill. Had an atrocious excuse for fish and chips there a few months back.

Still like it tho. The beer prices are pretty much on par with other bars in town pitching at the higher end of the market. �4 a pint is a bit steep, but it is Leffe and even Tiger (lager) is �3.90 a pint in Saltwater (and they had to fight to sell it at that, the distro wanted them to sell it at �4.05 a pint!!)
