I like this pub. Good beers (I recommend the everard's tiger), food is nice. Quite intimate inside the pub, and has a nice roof garden which, whilst at it's best in the summer, is heated so no worries for smokers.

My only complaint is that given the layout of the bar, service can be a bit slow and frustrating at times. I also get the niggling feeling it's 'locals before non-locals' in terms of selecting the next punter. But this is just speculation....

Nice pub, watch your head if your lanky though. Nearly KO'd myself a few times in there hitting the low beams.

Gorgeous pub and gorgeous decor! Love the chandeliers and does the same brill landlord/manager stiil run it from a year or so ago? He's a really friendly manager and always welcomes you with a smile and is very hospitable. The garden is also really nice and chilled to sit in considering derby Road is parallel
