Write Commentby New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. Sep 20, 2008, 10:05:32 amNicely refurbished and gorgeously cavey pub topped off with a small-but-perfectly-formed art gallery on the roof. Lots of events/live music going off in the gallery as well as regular exhibitions. Restaurant section in the pub bit too - not eaten there myself but looks nice enough.
Drinks overpriced, but that seems to be par for the course in the Canning Circus triangle.
by floydy Sep 23, 2008, 10:41:59 amreally really nice
great performance and exhibition space upstairs
too far up derby road to attract the dribbling goons of parliamant street and too far down to get the stone-faced weirdos of alfreton road

by Sara Nov 12, 2008, 06:42:57 pmNow, I ain't been in this place since they've done it up but by gum, after passing it on the bus the other day, does it look GORGEOUS! I'm dying to go for a drink to solely ooze over the decor!

by papillondefer May 10, 2009, 12:16:05 amI went into this pub and whitnessed the most awful service and language by the owner Dawn. The place is lovely but the people who own and work there have very odd language and service levels.
I have had far better times in Nottingham and surrounding areas for my money where the service is friendly and the language is appropriate.
you would think in a climate as we are in that owners and staff would value custom.
