Heathers (1989)
When: Monday 20 March, 8.30pm
Where: Savoy Cinema
How much: £6.95
Immerse yourself in the nostalgic 80s cinematics of this ‘subversive anti-teen movie.’ Heathers takes the typical high school mean girl story to a new height and combines the hell of clique domination with murderous intent. Sounds intriguing, right? So, join Veronica Sawyer, JD, Heather Chandler, Heather McNamara, and Heather Duke on their insanely psychotic high school journey.

Collage and Cocktails
When: Wednesday22 March, 7pm
Where: The Carousel
How much: £3
“Grab a mock or cocktail and get messy.” If you’re more of a practical person and producing art is your thing, then this is certainly the event for you. At a much smaller cost of £3 and access to an array of equipment, this is a fantastic way to tap into your creativity and create a collage, social, and drink some beautiful homemade drinks!

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey
When: Thursday 23 March, 8pm
Where: Broadway
How much: £5
This cynical horror explores the infamous tale of a gentle, comforting yellow teddy bear, Winnie the Pooh, and his companion that most of us know so well. However, this film presents an alternative to the children’s story addressing the question “What if beloved childhood icons Winnie the Pooh and Piglet grew up to become feral and bloodthirsty.” This is a question I know has certainly never crossed my mind! Join the Nottingham Horror Collective for this one-off screening and a chance to see Rhys Waterfield’s “horrible, horrible idea” on the big screen.

Sin of My Father, with Lily Dunn
When:
Sunday 26 March, 4:30pm
Where: Five Leaves Bookshop
How much: £6,
Finally, if you wish to bury yourself in non-fictional literature, then I urge you to visit Five Leaves Bookshop to hear Lily Dunn to hear Lily’s story about her connections with a cult. “A daughter, a cult, a wild unravelling,” Lily had a very interesting upbringing because her “father left the family home to follow his guru to India”, but it was not as simple as that… Lily will also be joined by Patrick Limb from the Nottingham City of Literature! So, if hearing the intriguing mystery of Lily’s father live isn’t enough, then can you be tempted by afternoon tea and cake?
