someone at work today has already called me 'truculent and abrasive.' it is only quater past eleven. i am deeply impressed. can any leftlioners beat this for being insulted in an intelligent way?

I heard a massive argument on Radio 5 between an academic and a politician and the academic ended up slaying the politician - ended his point by saying please stop all your 'pompous verbosity'.

My mate accused me of being 'deliberately obtuse' not long ago for liking this year's Big Brother when everyone else was tired of the format. He was probably right.
There's loads of good Shakespearean ones, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Let me do some research.
