Walked by the camelia house in Wollaton Park last year where we used to play acoustic recitals at the age of 14. Saw 7 of 9 pubs in Clifton shut and every pub in FF. Drove by every restaurant in town that is now boarded up pendind student occuppe. Saw the city more dead than ever. More bars and Indian restauranta than coukd ever sustain the dip. Yes, where are you now? I noticed that many pubs have gone on Alfreton Rd but the positive news is that there's a Blue Monkey Brewery new pub opened down there...drinking out is soooo expensive now for me, so I think the way forward is drinks/socialising at friends and then head out later into the city to save on the dosh.. had a top night at The Maze at Psycle and look forward to the next..
