Intended takedown of internet by hacktivist group
I'm not tech savvy so clueless as to weather this is even feasable. Any comments ?

It's technically possible, but highly unlikely. Targetting the root dns servers would be your only real way of doing it, and that would take a hell of a lot of traffic, there's 13 root servers i believe and they are all very well protected.

It didn't actually registered until the day after that it's the day before April fools. Doh ! but I've learnt loads about the internet off the back of it.
