If you feel the same in the morning, I’ll leave the door unlocked for you to leave.
For the night may change those feelings, that feel so certain now,
and the warmth of the new morning may seem like a brighter day somehow.
And if, in the morning, you still decide to go,
at least I’ll have tonight to hold you close.
