ONE BEAT PRESENTS:
FORMER MONARCHS (Cork, IRE) These Irish kings return to the Jam Cafe after their cracking set back in October. If you were there, you'll know how good these guys are, if you weren't, you have a second chance to find out! If you like rousing indie rock with a hint of math-pop and a singing drummer, then come on down. For fans of Marvin's Revolt, The Redneck Manifesto, Destiny's Child (you gotta hear their Bills, Bills, Bills cover!). Check out their debut EP here.
LIBERATION PACT (Nottingham, UK) These guys are ACE. Dealing in melodic rock with a sensitive emo side and bags of personality, Liberation Pact will appeal to fans of Sunny Day Real Estate, Elliott and Jimmy Eat World. Listen here.
BEAR MAKES NINJA (Sleaford, UK) Did you hear their last single Biff 'n' Buzz? It was really ace, and combined heavy riffs with ace math-rocky parts, whilst being insanely poppy at the same time. With three vocalists, these guys are ripe for a good old sing a long. Check them out in advance.
SOME SKELETONS (Nottingham, UK) These local lads will kick off proceedings with their own brand of guitar rock, combining driving alternative emo influences with some good old post hardcore. Check them out on bandcamp, where you can download their debut EP of a pay-what-you-like basis. It's ace.
Saturday 11th Feb Kicks of at 8pm FREE ENTRY
