JUNK YARD – THE SOUNDS OF BERLIN VIA NOTTINGHAM.Junk Yard is was a Monthly event held at GATECRASHER – Nottingham. It was a collaboration between the cities top underground DJ’s. The lads were getting more and more frustrated by the local promoters restrictive music policies which was not allowing them to showcase their first love –Techno/deep house – and the only answer was to create Junk Yard.Junk Yard’s crowd is diverse – from young students who have followed the lads from the Stealth residencies to the older more clued up crowd who used to frequent the seminal acid house club Venus. What they all have in common is a love for electronic music and a serious ability to Party. Junk Yard’s Friday nights have fast become one of the cities most popular events..Junk Yard runs cave parties beneath the city of nottingham!, twice a year we take over the cave and turn it into a party until the last man is standing (sometimes 9am), if you have been lucky enough to get an invite then you wil know that we are serious about our music and we DO take prisoners as far as people leaving goes.
