The overlay of pattern, colour and imagery will form the basis of Kay van-Bellen’s new commission for the entrance area of Angel Row Gallery. Inspired by her background in fashion and textiles, Kay’s quirky, graphic style which she describes as ‘playful and restless’ has led to commissions for Boots Plc, British Telecom and Serco. Most recently she has launched a range of screen printed artworks for kids under the name Kuchi. Kay lives and works in Nottingham.
