Life is Very Sweet has been devised by Jane Wildgoose to complement the exhibition Dinner with a Duke. A beautiful installation of sugar flowers combined with examples of porcelain, portraits, and garden sculpture from the Portland Collection, explores the complicated 18th century conventions for serving dessert.
