At The Harley Gallery on Monday 18 July until Sunday 07 August
Event Details
Description
Colour, pattern and texture will take you on a journey through these very different cultures - climb aboard our specially painted rickshaw and join us on this trip through countries, landscapes and history!
Making Sense: Sensing Place will show you metal work by Steven Follen (UK), delicate paper artwork by Thurle Wright (UK), textiles by Lokesh Ghai (India), fine art by Tarun Ghosh (Bangladesh) and vibrant rickshaw paintings by Tapan Das (Bangladesh). These exhibits will tell the story of the artists' exchange visits, of their travels between each other's countryside and cities, culture and landscape, in this joint project from the V&A Museum of Childhood and The Harley Gallery.
