The Future Sound of Nottingham 2012 final took place at Rock City on Sunday 17 June. Competing for the prize to win a slot at Splendour Festival were In The North Wood, The Afterdark Movement, Crash Jacket, Tom Wardle, The Species and Joe Danks. The winners were decided by a mix of crowd response (recorded on a decibel level recorder) and by a panel of judges.
The final placings were:

3) Joe Danks
