Nottingham Playhouse

About Nottingham Playhouse

Nottingham Playhouse is home to bold, thrilling and world-class productions, encompassing timeless classics, enthralling family shows, and exciting new commissions. Visiting dance, comedy and theatre complete the bill and the Playhouse’s listed 1963 building, complete with Anish Kapoor's striking Sky Mirror on its forecourt, is a drama in itself.

The particularly generous foyer areas mean that there is ample and interesting space for presenting small scale productions, concerts, exhibitions and talks. The building is fully accessible, both front and back stage.

Our award-winning restaurant CAST, a contemporary and sophisticated environment with a modern British take on world cuisine, completes the experience as you combine a visit to the Playhouse with a pre-theatre meal.
