Beeston Civic Society October Walk

‘Trees – what lives here?’ – Helene Laanest - Beeston Square Bandstand @ 2pm

• This entirely new walk will examine local tree species, what lives in, on and near to them. Staring in Beeston Square the route takes us to the church yard (Yew, silver birch, Austrian or Scots pine & more), then to a little park, The Willows on Dovecote Lane (Elder, beech, red flowering currant, holly & more) and finally down to the Hetley Pearson recreation ground (Hornbeam, alder buckthorn, field maple & more).
