Short Stack

This month, we’re presenting a special double bill of shorts to celebrate ten years of Short Stack.

This first programme will showcase the latest selection of films selected from our open call, curated and hosted by filmmaker and Short Stack founder David Lilley and Film Hub Midlands’ Ella Townsend.

The featured short this month is MOTH, written and directed by BFI Film Academy 2016 graduate, Ynez Myers. The film explores the complex dynamic between a father and daughter trying to reconnect after years of estrangement.

Next, join us at 18:30 for Short Stack – Best of 10 Years, with networking drinks from 20:00 in the Mezz Bar.

The screening will start at the advertised time and has unallocated seating. Please note, this screening has a recommended age rating of 15+.
