Natalia García-Huidobro
Chilean choreographer and dancer based in Spain, Natalia brings a rich background of training from Mexico, Spain, and the UK. Through her innovative creations, Natalia has forged a distinctive approach to contemporary flamenco, blending tradition with groundbreaking structures and collaborating with artists from diverse disciplines. As the artistic director of La Típica since 2000, she has infused the company with fresh expressions of flamenco in works such as El Arrebato, Our Prayer, La Extranjera, Memorias del Viento, Acuérdate de mí…Lola, Silencio, and A ras de Tierra. Natalia’s talents extend to performance, where she has collaborated with renowned visual artists and musicians, including her notable work with director Lemi Ponifasio on “Love to Death”, which has gained acclaim at festivals worldwide.

 

Adrian Sola
Adrian Sola, a specialist in Flamenco guitar, has been perfecting his craft to curate a repertoire of essential masterpieces from the Flamenco guitar tradition. Born in Barcelona, Adrian’s musical journey began at an early age, displaying a keen interest in diverse musical genres. At the age of 12, he borrowed his father’s guitar, initially as a hobby, which soon evolved into a passionate pursuit. As a teenager, he enrolled at The Modern Music School of Badalona, where he embarked on a comprehensive exploration of musical language, harmony, jazz flute, and Flamenco guitar, ultimately shaping his path as an accomplished and sought-after accompanist for Flamenco dance and singing traditions.

 

Monica García
Monica Garcia, originally from Frailes (Jaen) and now based in London, discovered her passion for singing at a young age, inspired by her grandfather Luis. Self-taught in music, Monica has flourished into a seasoned performer collaborating with highly acclaimed musicians, dancers, and singers. She has performed at renowned venues including Jazz Café in London and Playhouse in Salisbury, where she continues to captivate audiences with her soulful voice and captivating performances.
