Louis Croft (Live at The Old Bus Depot)

Louis Croft is a Singer Songwriter from Nottingham, UK. He has been writing and performing since the age of 16, and is influenced by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Jake Bugg, and The Beatles. He has been featured many times on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, with Dean Jackson dubbing him ‘one of the most prolific artists round here’. Louis’ first festival appearance was at the Southwell Folk Festival in 2019, and shortly afterwards he performed at The Long Road Country Festival in the same year for BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 2, after which he was featured on the Bob Harris Country Show on BBC Radio 2. Louis released his first single ‘Life Goes On’ on Run On Records and Modern Sky on the 23rd April 2021, which was followed by his debut self-titled EP. The EP was produced by James Skelly (The Coral) and recorded in Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. He has gone on to support The Coral and Ocean Colour Scene in 2022 and released the two singles ‘If I Told You’ and ‘The World Is Upside Down For Me’, both self-produced and taken from his second EP ‘A Tale of A Troubadour’.  His new single ‘One Day A Dream Came To Me’ is set to be released on the 3rd August 2023 on Run On Records and is the first of Louis’ music to be solely written, recorded, mixed and mastered by himself.
