We love a bit of I’m Not From London here at LeftLion. We dig their sarcastic name, their eclectic and consistently brilliant choice of musical acts and their overall ethos of just trying to put on damn good parties!

We’re not alone either, as proved by the fact that Nottingham turned out in force for their first gig of 2010 at The Central, a bar now under the ownership of the people who used to run the consistently excellent Running Horse.

Watch the video, featuring The Gimme Danger burlesque troupe, Captain Dangerous, Hot Japanese Girl, Elliot Morris, Dead Spex, Spiders Eat Vinyl, Made of leaves, The Wickets, Captain Cor Blimy, The Bonsai Band, The Burt Bacharach Fight Club, Jon Coates and a Katheen and Lillys DJ set.
