Emmanuel House provides Nottingham’s homeless and vulnerably housed community with some of life’s basic necessities: hot showers, washing machines, home-cooked meals and access to clean clothing. But once the essentials have been covered, the day centre provides service users with the tools to begin to build on their skills, create lasting friendships, and enjoy life again…

Emmanuel House have launched their Gift of Hope campaign, they are aiming to raise £45,000 in order to keep the centre running over the Christmas months.

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
