Left Back is the monthly LeftLion sports podcast. Taking its name from the inspiration provided by the likes of Stuart Pearce and... erm, Meindert Dijkstra, we'll be offering a monthly update of sport in Nottingham, delivered straight into your tabs.
Your regular hosts are Jared Wilson and Alan Gilby - and Alan actually made it into the studio this time after being held up in London during the first episode, having football trials with Chelsea. Jared, meanwhile, didn't drink enough milk when he was a child and is now only good enough to play for Accrington Stanley.
Features on this episode include an exclusive interview with Mathew Horne (of Gavin and Stacey and Horne and Corden telly fame), talking about his time as a youth goalkeeper with Notts County. Also in the house were Nottingham producers The Elementz (aka Zoutr and Liati) who came in to talk about their new album (featuring the likes of Roots Manuva) and their currently appalling performance in the LeftLion fantasy football league.
Our football pundits on this episode are local football forum overlords Alex, Rich and Tom. Alex and Rich are two of the the men behing of Forest fan site Lost That Loving Feeling (LTLF.co.uk) and are not fans of the Su Pollard version of You've Lost That Loving Feeling at all (how could they?). Tom was going out for dinner straight after recording and turned up to the studio looking very smart (particularly considering he's from Carlton) and one of the current Editors of Notts County Mad (nottscounty-mad.co.uk).
LISTENERS TAKE NOTE: If you want to compete against the Left Back team (and some of our studio guests) in a fantasy football league this season, sign up a team at fantasy.premierleague.com and use the code 90029-51056 to join the LeftLion League. At the end of the season the overall winner will be invited onto the show and annointed by us as the font of all local football knowledge!
