Exploring Character with Megan Taylor

At Waterstones

Description

During this practical and supportive course, participants will engage in a variety of writing exercises to gain a deeper understanding of their characters. You will explore the contrasting approaches of several different authors, and also consider how mining and honing our personal experiences can add authenticity to your fictional creations.  You will also look at writing beyond yourselves and think about the essential role of empathy in understanding a character’s motivations and emotions.

A Writing School East Midlands course.
