This short but informative guided tour offers an introduction to the architecture and history of Nottingham’s Lace Market, the Heritage Tour looks at the area around St Mary’s Gate and includes some architecture by Watson Fothergill and Thomas Chambers Hine.
This is a walk of approximately 45 minutes, starting and ending at Debbie Bryan at 18 St Mary’s Gate, Nottingham.
Participants are asked to come appropriately prepared for all weather eventualities and to wear footwear suitable for city walking.
The Debbie Bryan gallery and tea room is adorned with textile nostalgia and authentic industrial fixture and fittings from Nottingham’s Lace industry. The team will be available for questions about the galleries’ heritage collections.
