New Year’s Eve: Murder! At The Masquerade

At National Justice Museum

This December, head to the National Justice Museum for a New Year’s event with a twist!

The year is 1783, and Nottingham is a city of divides. As the year passes from 1783 to 1784, what counts as Nottingham’s ‘High Society’ gather in the Shire Hall for an evening of debauchery. Relatives of scoundrels, beautiful courtesans, con men, industrialists and worse. All gather to hear the bells of St Mary’s Church sing in the New Year, but one guest is notably absent…

Can you decipher 'whodunnit' at this end of year murder mystery?

Tickets are priced at £27.95 per person and include two free cocktails (or mocktails), murder mystery tour and a masquerade mask.

Guests should arrive between 7pm and 7.30pm for an arrival cocktail. Doors close at 8pm.

The interrogation starts at 8pm before proceeding to our Grand Civil Courtroom for a trial concluding around 10pm

The winner receives a free bottle of fizz.

Fancy dress encouraged! Over 18s only. Sensible footwear and a warm jacket is advised.
