Flexible sessions in The Harley Pottery Studio, providing the opportunity to use our facilities for your own individual practice.
These open access pottery sessions offer flexible studio space for those who can work independently, with a full range of ceramics facilities available including two kilns and six wheels.
The Pottery Studio is a large, 178sqm workspace in The Harley Foundation’s ‘East Workshops’ which were designed by architect John Outram. It features displays from the Nottinghamshire County Council Ceramics Collection.
Our Studio Manager provides supervision. Please note tutorials are not available during the Open Access sessions. For pottery classes, please see our workshops page.
All Open Access Thursdays attendees are required to clean their work area and equipment at the end of their session. We accept no responsibility if your work breaks in the kiln.
Please note that other activities may be taking place in the Pottery Studio at the same time as our Open Access sessions.
When visiting The Harley Pottery Studio, please report to a gallery reception on arrival.
