We eat, sleep and breathe our stories.
So much so, that it can be hard for us to see our writing as anything else but perfect.
A critique group offers writers the chance to receive honest, invaluable and constructive feedback on pitfalls in their writing as well as positive comments on what worked well in the piece: giving the writer an insight into how “real” readers will perceive the story.
Starting in December, we will be hosting our brand new bi-monthly (once every two months) open critique nights. Bring along your current work-in-progress in the form of a page, paragraph, or poem (max.500 words) and share it with your fellow NWS members. Unlike a traditional critique group format, everyone will get the chance to share their work and everyone will have the opportunity to provide and receive feedback.
NWS members only.
