Patchings Artists’ Way on Show
In 1988 the fields next to and around the then ‘Patchings Farm’ were dedicated to the growing of potatoes – for the production of crisps. Not a tree, plant or bush existed, other than a potato crop. It has taken the years since to create the landscape now called ‘The Artists’ Way’ and the ‘Monet Bridge Landscape’. This exhibition is a celebration through painting and photography of development of these landscapes. It also illustrates, that if allowed, nature takes its course and helps create a setting for artists and those who enjoy wildlife and the countryside.
