Performing Your Poems And Stories

At Nottingham Writers Studio

Description

Performing our work to an audience, can be anxiety-inducing, even for the seasoned performers amongst us but what if there were ways to perform better, clearer, and bolder both with and without a microphone?

In performing your poems and stories, writer, performer and workshop leader, Lytisha Tunbridge is going to guide you through a series of exercises that will improve your stage performances and readings.

Participants will practice techniques for confident delivery of your own readings or poems; whether from the page or memory and Lytisha will show those of you terrified of using microphones how it can be your friend during a performance.

This workshop is perfect for those wishing to build up confidence, attend and perform at more open mic nights or if you’re looking to develop your delivery further.
