The Vintage Carnival returns to Nottingham Racecourse Breaking into its third year on the festival circuit, the Vintage Carnival is a huge one-day family-friendly event that returns to Nottingham Racecourse on Saturday 1st September to celebrate all things vintage. Visitors can expect top quality vintage shopping, a classic car display, delicious street food, gin and real ale bars, live music, a pop up hair and beauty salon, free dance lessons, craft workshops, fairground amusements, children’s activities and much more.
This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, while continuing to support independent traders from across the UK. The Vintage Carnival is organised by the team behind Lou Lou’s Vintage Fairs, the most popular vintage fair in the country and winner of Best Vintage Fair in the UK for the past three years. Organiser Louise Glover says, “It’s great to see so many Nottingham people turn out in their best vintage outfits. There’s a big viztage-loving crowd in Nottingham, but the event also draws in families and people who are completely new to vintage. I think we can all appreciate a sense of nostalgia and a bit of good old-fashioned fun.”
The event is back in Nottingham by popular demand after more than 5,000 customers visited the first Vintage Carnival in the city in 2016. The Vintage Marketplace Expect a curated selection of vintage wares from some of the UK’s top traders. With stalls indoors and outdoors, there will be clothing, jewellery, crafts and collectables from the 1920s to the 1980s.
