The Old Nottinghamians' Society presents a Zoe Konez livestream for the Nottingham Renal Unit.
Zoe Konez is a "wonderful singer, wonderful songwriter, wonderful guitarist" (Tom Robinson, musician & DJ). She will play her own songs & covers from the 60s to now; from These Boots Are Made For Walkin' to The Weeknd.
The ONs' gigs for NHS causes began in 2016 at The Maze, courtesy of Gaz & Steph Peacham. Sadly, The Maze had to close in 2019 &, even worse, Gaz then fell seriously ill. Following his recovery we agreed that the next ONs' gig would raise funds for the department that treated him.
The Nottingham Renal Unit serves a population of one million people, with patients arriving from three counties. Based at Nottingham City Hospital, the unit has 40 dialysis stations. Patients attend three times a week for four hours each time. Some will be waiting for a kidney transplant; others require ongoing dialysis treatment.
Donations to Nottingham University Hospitals Charity help to improve the care of, & experience for, patients having life-saving treatment.
The livestream link will appear on the day in the Facebook event at https://bit.ly/3exrzNa & on the donations page at https://bit.ly/3652qFA.
Thank you for your support. It's going to be a great show!
