Student-led community interest company, People of the Streets, handed out disposable cameras to Nottingham's homeless community. The end result? An incredible photography exhibition, Stories of the Streets, that provides us with an insight to what life is really like when you don't have a house to call your home. We sent our own photographer, Tom Morley, down to the exhibition in Broadmarsh, to provide us with a very meta photo gallery of a photo gallery.

You can catch Stories of the Streets in Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, until Saturday 23 December 2017. Photos and prints are available for purchase, with proceeds going towards helping Nottingham's homeless. You can also donate warm clothing, toiletries and feminine hygiene products.

Watch our interview with three of the exhibition's contributors here.

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
