Videos performances from the three acts on the bill as I'm Not From London take over the Nottingham Arts Theatre

I'm Not From London put on an ambitious night at the Nottingham Arts Theatre this weekend and the three Notts acts on show responded to the big stage with excellent performances.

First on was Red Bear (aka Adam Clarkson, the lead singer of local pop rockers Captain Dangerous). He played a couple of songs from the band, which sounded great on piano. Then he played two songs from his new top-secret musical project. We're not sure what they'll eventually be used for, but we really liked them.

Next up were The Barnum Meserve. This was the first time i'd seen this great Notts band perform live. Someone had told me previously that they're a bit like Ben Folds Five. Well, they have a piano player in their ranks, but it's harder faster and edgier than BFF ever have been. Really enjoyed their set! Highly recommend you see them soon before they get snapped up by a major!

Headlining duties on the night went to Long Dead Signal. Winners of the 2010 Future Sound of Nottingham competition, it's easy to see why these lads are making a serious name for themselves around the city with a powerhouse of an electro-rock performance that rounded off the evening nicely. We love you LDS!
