Raiders of the Lost Park

It’ll be a right fun-filled day for the kiddies, full of team building activities that’ll require you to use yer bonce, like navigating larger-than-life mazes and scavenger hunts. You’re gonna need to keep your wits about yer. Whether it’s digging up buried treasure, breaking secret codes or attempting daring balancing acts on their slack-line, there’s always something intriguing to keep the little ones occupied. Island Gyal

MIMM X Henry Wu - Rooftop Party

Whether it’s sunny as owt or as cloudy as freshly-squeezed lemonade, this party is not one to be missed. The guys from MIMM are back at it again for another annual summer party at Saltwater and they welcome back the great Henry Wu to bless your ears with some eclectic bangers for you to dance the night away to. As per, you can expect a phat sound system and an extra slick selection from the MIMM DJ’s, ranging from old school garage bangers to nu-school hip-hop tracks to see you through. If that’s not enough, there’s an after party at the Angel Microbrewery ‘til the early morn.

Nottingham Pride 2017

Right, get yer rainbows ahht! The city centre will be popping this weekend for a day full of fun activities, crafts stalls and live music to celebrate Nottingham’s LGBTQ+ community. Nottingham Pride have been hosting this colourful event for a number of years now, and they’ve always made it a great day out for all. The Pride march will start at Castle Gate and head round to good ol’ Broad Street, where the fun really begins. With a whole heap of after parties in Hockley alone, the glitz and glamour won’t be stopping till you lot start dropping. Dancing shoes at the ready, me duckies.

Katie Cooper EP Launch

Well isn’t this is a feast of tasty Notts talent; Katie Cooper will be showcasing her debut EP at Rough Trade this weekend. Head down after yer Sunday roasts to hear some real homegrown talent from a local rising star; our Katie regularly performs at Bodega, Rescue Rooms and the famous Boat House. And she won’t be the only talent on show, as Ms Cooper will be supported by two Nottingham natives, singer/songwriter George Gadd and indie/hip-hop artist Izaak lowe (aka GrapeIceCream). If you like everything acoustic then this one’s right up yer street.
