Hello Thor
We are a small, independent record label based in Nottingham. We’ve been making vinyl and putting on DIY gigs, exhibitions and happenings since 2008. So far we have released records by Fists, We Show Up on Radar, Anxieteam, Cantaloupe, Hot Horizons, Grey Hairs, Inad and ULTRAS. We’ve also thrown a succession of parties involving zines, cakes, Viking helmets and tons of, quite frankly, shit-hot bands.

I’m Not From London
Based in Nottingham, I’m Not From London create and promote events, gigs, parties, festivals and charity events, as well as running two record labels (I’m Not From London Records and Wire And Wool Records) and being a registered music publisher.

I Own You Records
Established in 2013, so far we’ve released records by Bronnt Industries Kapital, The Cusp, 8mm Orchestra, Moscow Youth Cult, Rattle and White Finger. Ask us what genre the label specialises in and we’ll probably avoid answering you.

Kiks/Girlfriend
KIKS/GFR has been active sporadically since around 2006, specialising in a homespun brand of abstract electronics, avant-garde performance and noise. The label has pressed a series of custom made art edition lathe cut vinyl as well as regular vinyl and cassettes, all completed with a recognisable no-frills design set-up and photocopy art prints. The label is the personal project of Benjamin Hallatt who has been releasing his own brand of manipulated sound work under a number of guises since 2004 as well as co-founding the now defunct Nottingham art rock band Swimming back in 2003.

Larry Crywater
Since 2012 I have been releasing my own music and a choice selection of other people’s, mainly on cassette. I like industrial, techno, noise, acid house, sci-fi electro, loops, amateur field recordings, old skool, jungle, pirate radio, musique concrete, dancing, free time, very hot weather, very cold weather, Richard H Kirk, DIY labels and artists doing it, racing bicycles.

Leftback Records
Launched at the beginning of 2014 as an outlet to release label owners Dudley Strangeways and Michael McLardy’s individual and collaborative productions on vinyl. The label has since expanded its roster and release schedule to accommodate an international roster of like-minded artists who’ve inspired and supported the label over the past three years. Leftback is showcasing its sound across the UK on a regular basis and now also operates an online vinyl store as well as recently launching a new mix CD series.

Louder City
We are an independent record label formed in 2015 based in Nottingham, inspired by the vibrant music scene and DIY ethic of successful local labels. Releases by I Am Lono and Mannequin.

Plates
A vinyl record shop, dubplate cutting studio and music community, based in Nottingham. We focus on keeping alive the things that inspire creativity, freedom of exploration and soul within music.

Popty-Ping Recording Company
We're currently on a plan to release a total of nine different 7" singles, each from a new band, each as their first release, each to the same design. Each release will be limited to 500 and hand numbered. Each release will never be re-pressed. Once all nine have been released, they will be collated onto a 12" gatefold LP, to be titled Nine Modern Poets. All proceeds will go to charity.

Thread Recordings
An independent record label, established in Manchester, UK in 2015. Releases by Nick Jonah Davis, dbh, C Joynes and Cath & Phil Tyler.

Viral Age
UGLY.PUNK.ROCK

Where-Wax
The sister brand to WhereYouAt – a music event that’s been running in the city since 2014. The Where-Wax concept is to bring pop-up record stores to cities that might not have access to a quality record vendor. We specialise in underground electronic dance music and pride ourselves on stocking the latest release from upcoming artist and local labels.
