Saturday 4 November

Robin Hood Festival of Fireworks
Not content on having your bog standard bonfire celebration, Wilford Village are bringing back their Robin Hood Festival of Fireworks. Back by popular demand is the hog roast they’ll be serving up, alongside the Real Ale Marquee serving Castle Rock ales and ciders. But the main event really is the firework display by locally renowned pyrotechnic team from Crescendo Fireworks which, this year will be a "galactic experience" with musical accompaniment. Banging.
Saturday 4 November

Forest Recreation Ground
Are you even a proper Nottser if you haven’t spent at least one 5th of November dahn the Forest Rec, in a crowd of excitable kids and students waiting for the big bangs in the sky? We thought not. As ever, there’ll be fairground rides, toffee apples galore and the biggest bonfire in the East Midlands. Head down there for 7.15pm if you wanna catch the kiddies show, with the main display following at 9pm. Yer can’t ask for much more.
Sunday 5 November

Coppice Park
This one potentially wins the prize of the most "arty" bonfire event this year. Not only will there be a kick-ass display lighting up the sky, they’ve also roped in fire performers, giant puppets and an interactive audio visual dome. See, artsy. While we’re not quite sure what this mysterious dome will entail, we can’t wait to find out. It starts at 6pm and it's completely free. What’s not to love?
Monday 6 November

Blue Bell Hill Primary School
This one’s especially for the sprogs. Starting just after they finish school at 4pm, the festivities will kick off with some hot food, fairground rides and sports for the kids to try out, with some assistance from Nottingham Forest and Nottingham Rugby. All this fun will lead up to the main display at 7pm. Oh, and there’s even a rumour going round that they’ll be serving Krispy Kreme doughnuts…
Tuesday 7 November

More Firework Displays
If you’re a real bonfire junkie and can’t get enough of the lights in the sky, you can also check out the displays at Fourth Carlton Scouts, Walesby Forest Scout Camp, Clifton All Whites Football Club, Pepperpots Scout Ground and Mansfield Town Football Club.
