Our city has a soft spot for craft beer; since 2013, Notts has been dedicating an entire week to celebrating hops, IPAs and other, suchlike beery-stuff. We at LeftLion have teamed up with Nottingham Craft Beer Week and NFU Mutual to present to you the very first Nottingham Craft Beer Festival.

The fest will take place on Friday 15 - Saturday 16 June in Sneinton Market, falling right at the end of this years’ Craft Beer Week. The two day event will be split into three sessions, where your lot can get your gobs rahnd hundreds of beers from different bars and breweries who operate locally, nationally and internationally.

Of course, there can’t be beer without a banging selection of grub to line the stomach, which is why we’ve rounded up some of the best street food we could find to keep you satisfied. We’ve also got a line-up of our favourite musicians up our sleeves.

Festival organiser and our main man, Al Gilby, said: “We love a good beer festival and the idea of putting one on in the Sneinton Market Avenues complex in the middle of summer was too good to resist. There’ll be so many great beers on offer to taste, you won’t know where to start.”

Stalls already confirmed include:

  • Beavertown
  • Thornbridge
  • Junkyard
  • Black Iris
  • Freedom
  • Shiny Brewery
  • Liquid Light
  • Castle Rock Brewery
  • Font Craft Works

and there are plenty of other boggers chomping at the bit to get involved, so keep those eyes peeled for further announcements, including our food vendors and music line-up.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at £12 + Booking Fee, which includes £5 of beer tokens and an official souvenir festival glass. Get ‘em soon before they’re gone.

Tickets are available from Gigantic
